Climate Change is Global, the Impact is Local

Siegfried Frederick Singer

S. Fred Singer was a senior fellow at the Heartland Institute and published over a dozen books on climate change, such as Climate Change Reconsidered (multiple volumes) and Free Market Energy. Singer founded the climate change denial organization, the Science and Environmental Policy Project, alongside Gerhard Stohrer and Singer’s wife, Candace Crandall. Documents show that Singer had been receiving $5,000 a month from the Heartland Institute.

Position on Climate Change

He is quoted as saying, “Anyway, any warming observed during the past century appears to be trivially small and most likely economically beneficial overall.  Careful studies by leading economists and agricultural experts have established these facts.” (Source)
