Climate Change is Global, the Impact is Local

Pat Toomey

Sen. Pat Toomey, (R-PA) has been a U.S. Senator for Pennsylvania since 2012. Before that Toomey served as a representative for Pennsylvania’s fifteenth district from 1999 to 2005.

“My view is: I think the data is pretty clear,” Toomey said in the 2010 radio interview. “There has been an increase in the surface temperature of the planet over the course of the last 100 years or so. I think it’s clear that that has happened. The extent to which that has been caused by human activity I think is not as clear. I think that is still very much disputed and has been debated.”

Toomey has a 5% rating with the League of Conservation Voters, a non- profit environmental advocacy group.
