Climate Change is Global, the Impact is Local

Paul Driessen

Paul Driessen is a senior policy advisor for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow and for the Center of the Defense of Free Enterprise. He wrote Eco-Imperialism: Green Power, Black Death in 2003 and co-wrote Energy Keepers, Energy Killers in 2008. He worked with both the United States Senate and the Department of the Interior.

On Climate Change

Driessen was a founding member of Clexit, a group that calls climate policy “suicidal.”

In 2016, Driessen wrote that “No Real-World evidence supports a ‘dangerous manmade climate change’ thesis. In fact, a moderately warmer planet with more atmospheric carbon dioxide would hugely benefit crop, forest and other planet growth, wildlife and humans- with no or minimal climate effect.”

On the CFACT website, Driessen has published articles such as “As Trump ends the “War on Fossil Fuels,” we all win,” “Michael Moore and Driessen agree! Wind, solar and biofuel energy are devastating Planet Earth,” “Will Congress finally get tough on junk science?,” and Those fraudulent climate litigation shakedowns.”
